The Queen of Louisiana
In February 2017, I traveled for the first time to the city of New Orleans in Louisiana. I had never been to this part of the USA, but a good friend invited me, allowing me to experience the unique atmosphere of the dirty south. New Orleans has been through some harsh times with floods and a crumbling economy. Still, the city is prosperous with its cultural scene.
New Orleans is well known for its musical reputation worldwide—the city is built on Jazz. Therefore, every year there are dozens of major festivals. Luckily, I could witness a few events during my stay, and I used these occasions to take a couple of pictures. Please enjoy my best photos of New Orleans, and please feel free to leave me a comment.

Travel Photography beyond New Orleans
Please follow my link below if you like my post about New Orleans and want to start your project like this. My friends at Pixpa wrote an excellent article featuring how a travel photographer explores different places, people, and cultures to bring viewers the same experience through photographs. Please enjoy!
